FAQs
What is private security?
Private security consists of professional services provided to organizations or individuals to protect people, their property, or their assets from certain risks. These risks could include vandalism, theft, various crimes, or threats. Private security personnel maintain a position on site to better safeguard our clients and deter these risks before they happen.
Why do I need private security?
Private security has various factors highlighting its importance to both individuals and organizations.
Crime or Threat Deterrence: Presence of armed guards or regular patrols acts as a visible deterrent to potential criminal activities.
Rapid Response: Unlike law enforcement, private security personnel maintain a position on our clients property allowing them to respond immediately to potential threats.
Peace of mind. With private security personnel on site, you’ll be able to focus more on your family, productivity, and continue throughout your day knowing that qualified experts are safeguarding you and your interests.
What is the difference in armed security and patrol services?
Though all of our security personnel are properly licensed and armed, armed security refers to having personnel on site. This is also referred to as static security. Our static site officers remain on your property throughout your specified time for rapid response and crime deterrence.
Patrol services are available for flexibility and designed for a more cost-effective approach. These services offer periodic monitoring as opposed to having a permanent guard throughout a designated time. In utilizing a patrol vehicle, we deter through visibility while capable of patrolling large or multiple sites. This works particularly well, for more dynamic environments.
Do I need a consultation before utilizing your services?
Consultations are an important process prior to beginning services, as this allows us to put together an appropriate strategy tailored to your specific needs. Through a consultation, we gather an accurate risk assessment, tailor pricing based on your needs, gain an understanding of site-specific requirements, and customize your security solution. Consultations also provide an understanding into regulatory compliance and industry standards.
How do you determine costs?
Costs are calculated based on the number of personnel needed, size of the property, and risks specific to your industry or location.
Is video surveillance better than having guards on site?
While video surveillance is important and can serve as a deterrent, surveillance typically captures the crime as it happens while guards can proactively prevent the crime from happening. Even with monitored surveillance, unless there are guards on site, you will typically have a delayed response time, leaving yourself vulnerable to criminal activity.
